Here’s a good recource for those that are in the market for purchasing a tablet for the designing and illustration needs. It covers everything from the Cintiq (a digital graphics tablet that was basically a monitor that you can draw directly on) to it’s Graphire series.  Wacom does have a Bamboo series of tablets which isn’t mentioned but are more for the non-proessionals (thus having a much cheaper price).

AG Design has a good review of these tablets, their pros and cons for each, plus prices.  This would be a good starting point if you have some interest in possibly purchasing one of these tablets.
