design*sponge has been working with the New York Public Library to create a great video series called Design by the Book. The series follows several New York based artists as they plumb the depths of the library’s collection for inspiration, and create things based on what they find.

There are four videos in the series, each about ten minutes long. The artists featured include Mike Perry, Julia Rothman, Rebecca Kutys, and others. All four videos and pics of the finale party can be found here.
