Irina Troiskaya is a prolific artist from Moscow. She works across several media, from pencil and pen sketches, to matreshkas (traditional nesting dolls), to linocuts, masks and photography.
I follow most of her works via her flickr but she has an active blog and website.

While I have only been to St. Petersburg for a few weeks, her work has a particularly Russian feel to me. A nice mix of mystery and melancholy. Please check out her website, there’s great work in there.
